Design Without Obstruction: Where Windows Take Center Stage

A Living Space That Breathes
Inside, the absence of upper cabinetry gives way to open shelving and clean lines, allowing light and landscape to flow unbroken through the space. Natural textures—from the herringbone wood flooring to the soft stone countertops—reflect the environment just beyond the glass.
The sliding doors open to invite in cool breezes, enhancing passive ventilation and encouraging connection with the outdoors. It’s a space designed not just to be lived in, but to be experienced with every sense.
At the core of this mountain retreat’s awe-inspiring design is the bold use of Sierra Pacific’s Aspen series windows and Timber Curtain Wall system. Here, walls are optional, and nature becomes the home’s most captivating artwork.
Expansive Views, Exceptional Engineering
To elevate the home’s dramatic perch above Asheville, the design team selected casement and awning windows, sliding doors, and an architectural curtain wall with powder coat Peppered Steel—blurring boundaries between indoor living and the panoramic Blue Ridge Mountains.
The Timber Curtain Wall, a showpiece of structural artistry, delivers not only unmatched visual transparency but also superior performance in a range of weather conditions. The result? A seamless wall of glass that withstands mountain elements while offering uninterrupted views.

Interior Harmony: Mountain Modernism Meets Organic Warmth
Nestled in the heights of North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, the Town Mountain Home is a masterclass in immersive design—where every window frames a view, and every material choice nods to the surrounding forested ridges.
A Natural Interior Language
- Inside, the home radiates a serene strength, grounded in a palette of natural textures—stone, steel, and warm woods. The interiors, imagined by Wright Design Interiors Studio, blend refined minimalism with mountain soul.
- Rich wood flooring laid in a herringbone pattern leads the eye toward walls of glass, while open shelving and raw materials maintain a visual lightness that keeps the focus on the expansive, ever-changing vistas beyond.
An Inspired Kitchen: Where Nature Takes Center Stage
In the kitchen, function dissolves into form. Instead of upper cabinets, an uninterrupted Timber Curtain Wall and a set of large Aspen casement and awning windows become the kitchen’s defining features.
From sunrise breakfasts to starlit evenings, the space becomes a dynamic theater for the natural world. The surrounding views of trees, ridgelines, and sky shift with the light, turning daily routines into moments of wonder.
Calm, Cohesive Living Spaces
Throughout the living areas, sliding doors and expansive glass panels create a seamless connection between the interior and the mountain beyond. Furnishings are chosen to echo the landscape: earth-toned upholstery, natural fibers, and handcrafted wood pieces enhance the sense of place.
This is not just a home—it’s a vantage point, a nest, a quiet observer of the wilderness just outside.
Sustainability & Energy Efficiency
Sierra Pacific’s high-performance windows and doors elevate the home’s beauty while delivering:
- Durability against high-altitude weather conditions, including strong winds and temperature shifts.
- Superior insulation, offering cozy winters and cool summers without excess energy use.
- Passive ventilation, thanks to well-placed operable windows, minimizing dependence on artificial climate control.
This isn’t just a house with a view—it’s a home in sync with its environment.
A Mountain Vision, Realized
The Town Mountain Home stands as a bold yet thoughtful expression of place. It balances precision architecture with elemental warmth, modern lines with wild landscapes, and luxury with restraint.
Through exceptional design, materials that matter, and the quiet power of Sierra Pacific’s windows and doors, this home proves that when we invite nature in, we discover something essential—about the land, and about ourselves.

A Home That Looks Out and Inward
At its heart, the Town Mountain Home is about presence—being immersed in your surroundings while wrapped in peace and simplicity. It’s a space for stillness and inspiration, where design bows to the view and every day begins with a window to wonder.
