Red Ledges – Utah | Elevated Living: Where Contemporary Design Meets Mountain Majesty

Introduction
A Home That Frames the Horizon
Perched within Utah’s stunning high desert landscape, Red Ledges is more than a custom home—it’s a sculptural tribute to the terrain that surrounds it. Designed by Habitations Design Group and crafted by PureHaven Homes, this residence celebrates contrast: sleek lines softened by natural light, expansive openness grounded by solid craftsmanship.
Sophistication in Simplicity

Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Living in the High Desert
To fully embrace the breathtaking Utah landscape, the design integrates bi-fold doors, pivot doors, and French doors that dissolve the barrier between inside and out. Whether you’re entertaining under the stars or enjoying a quiet morning with mountain light streaming in, these transitions make every space feel expansive and alive.
The pivot door, with its sleek vertical grain and robust build, becomes a statement entry—modern, grounded, and welcoming.
A series of bi-fold doors along the patio unfold completely, inviting fresh air and panoramic views into the living and dining areas. This fluidity between interior luxury and exterior freedom speaks to the very essence of mountain living: unbounded, effortless, and connected.
At the heart of this modern mountain retreat lies a thoughtful blend of form and function—brought to life through the intentional use of Sierra Pacific windows and doors. Every opening was designed to do more than frame the view; it enhances energy efficiency, spatial flow, and the overall architectural experience.
Rooted in Place, Designed to Endure
Clad in a dramatic Black 023 finish, Sierra Pacific’s window and door systems provide not only striking contrast against the pale stone and wood textures, but also high performance in a rugged climate. These systems were selected for their:
Thermal efficiency, keeping interiors comfortable no matter the season.
All-weather durability, with materials engineered to thrive in Utah’s sun and snow.
Passive ventilation, enabling fresh airflow through thoughtfully placed casement windows and direct glaze units.

Interior Elegance: Mountain Modern Meets Organic Warmth
Inside, the home unfolds as a sanctuary of calm and warmth, with a palette inspired by sand, driftwood, and ocean mist.
A Palette Rooted in Nature
- Inside, the palette draws inspiration from the high-desert surroundings—think weathered stone, warm woods, and deep charcoal finishes. Soft neutral walls provide a calming backdrop, while textural elements like live-edge surfaces, steel details, and organic textiles ground the space in its natural setting.
- The interiors, brought to life by designer Melissa Kelsey, blend understated elegance with tactile comfort, creating a space that feels equally refined and livable.
Panoramic Living: Walls of Glass and Seamless Transitions
This home isn’t just designed to frame nature—it invites it in.
With Aspen casement windows, direct glaze units, and soaring trapezoid clerestory windows, every space captures dramatic mountain vistas and floods the interiors with natural light. The living areas open up to the outdoors through bi-fold doors, French doors, and an elegant pivot door, blurring the boundary between home and horizon.
These expansive glass features aren’t just aesthetic—they’re experiential. Whether relaxing in the great room or stepping out onto the sun-warmed patio, the views are ever-present, immersive, and deeply grounding.
A Home Designed to Flow
From the private entry courtyard to the elevated terrace overlooking the valley, movement through the home is both intuitive and visually connected. Long sightlines, minimal thresholds, and thoughtful transitions give the home a sense of openness, continuity, and calm.
The layout is anchored by natural materials and craftsmanship, but it’s the strategic use of Sierra Pacific’s high-performance windows and doors that enables this home to truly open up—welcoming in views, light, and air.
Sustainability & Energy Efficiency
Behind the beauty lies serious performance. Sierra Pacific products were selected not just for their visual impact, but for their durability and energy efficiency:
- Direct glaze and trapezoid units maximize light and views without sacrificing thermal control.
- Bi-fold and pivot doors offer effortless operability with clean, modern lines.
- Black 023 exterior cladding and chestnut bronze hardware deliver striking contrast and longevity against the Utah elements.
Every material was chosen to harmonize with the environment—resilient, low-maintenance, and stunningly modern.
A Home in Harmony with Its Landscape
The Red Ledges home is more than a feat of architecture—it’s a lifestyle statement. With bold design, elevated finishes, and uninterrupted visual access to Utah’s majestic landscape, this residence redefines mountain living.
It stands as a testament to the possibilities of thoughtful design and Sierra Pacific’s role in bringing that vision to life—through windows and doors that are as intelligent and enduring as they are beautiful.

Redefining the Mountain Modern Home
Red Ledges reimagines what a mountain home can be. It honors its setting not by retreating into rusticity, but by amplifying the elegance of clean lines, vast openness, and purposeful connection to the outdoors.
With a sculptural silhouette, sweeping glass elements, and thoughtful material choices, this home is as much a modern sanctuary as it is a bold architectural gesture—proving that true luxury lies in simplicity, space, and an uninterrupted view of nature’s masterpiece.
