Designed as a gathering place for artistic expression and shared experience, the Coppell Arts Center stands as a cultural anchor for the city of Coppell, Texas. The building’s bold transparency and refined material palette invite the community inside, blurring the line between public space and performance venue.
A dramatic Timber Curtain Wall (View Max Plus) defines the façade, creating a luminous exterior expression while showcasing the activity within. Mixed Grain Douglas fir glulam beams add warmth and structural rhythm, complementing the building’s modern form with a sense of craft and authenticity. Designed by Kirk Johnson with Corgan and constructed by CORE Construction, the project is captured by Kurt Griesbach, highlighting its role as both architectural statement and civic destination.
