  • What are the steps to purchasing a Marvin Product?

The first step is to contact us, either by phone, email or showroom visit.  Next, set up a meeting with a representative to tell them what you are looking for and what your requirements are.  The representative will need measurments for the product or will require a detailed architectural plan.  The representative will consult with you to determine the style, colour, size and options you would like on your windows, doors, and siding.  A quote will be made to you outlining each item you have chosen according to your requests and arrangements.

Once you have signed off on the quote, your order will be placed.  You will be kept up to date throughout the processof your order,  a convenient time for your order to be delivered will be determind.  You should discuss the installation procedure with your contractor. 

  • Do you charge a consultation fee?

No, all consulations are complementary.

  • Is installation included in the price?

No, installation is not included in the price. Price depends on the product and the location or you may employ your own contractor or installer.

  • Is the product good for extreem or varying climates?

Yes, the product profroms well to changing temperatures and will help to reduce your heating and cooling costs as well.

  • What is the warrenty?

We offer a 10 year warranty on the entire product, with a 20 year glass warranty against seal failure.

  • How much or what kind of matinance is required?

  • What are my colour options?

We have 19 standard colours in range and we can also colour match to your requirments.

  • How long is the delievery time after my order is placed? 

On standard windows and doors it is a average of 9 weeks delievery time however this may vary, especially for non-standard products.

  • Can I visit your show room?

Yes, we are locted at 15 Capella Crescent, Moorabbin, Victoria- 3189 Australia and we are open 8am-4.30pm (Monday Friday).

  • What is double and triple glazing?

Double Glazing is using two panes of glass instead of one to reduce noise and heat transmission in windows and doors. There is a gap between the two panes filled with a gas which plays a major role in the reducation of heat and sound transmission. Triple Glazing is just an extra pane of glass to further reduce heat and sound transmission and is most useful in extream situations of lots of noise or a very intense climate.

 

  • What makes double/triple glazed windows superior?

Double and tripple glazing provides better temperature control by keeping the warmth in during the winter and the heat out during the summer providing a more comfortable environment inside. This also lowers utility bills as the air from the heater or air conditoner isnt escaping outside resulting in a lowered usage of these devices. By using these devices less, you are also reducing your carbon footprint, leaving a better world for future genrations. As well as keeping the weather out, double and triple glazed windows are also very efficient at keeping noise out, this is useful especially for people who live near loud places such as railway lines, clubs, highways or even noisy neighbours. They also reduce condensation which causes many problenms such as damage to window frames, walls, architrave carpet or floor, it also helps with the breeding of molds. The gas in between the two window panes eliminates this problem and ensures the pane on the inside is at room temperature. Your home or building value can also be increased as it can hlep you to achieve a higher Star Engery rating.

  • If our double glazed window breaks, does the gas cause a health hazard?

No, the gas is very safe and should not cause any health issues.
